You may be feeling overwhelmed, in a challenging relationship, or hoping to find more purpose in your life. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or perfectionism and want life to feel less hard. You may have experienced a traumatic event and need someone to help hold your story so you can shift to living in a place of security instead of fear. You want to find meaning, make changes, and need support. We all need that.
It’s easy to think we can push through on our own or that talking to friends or family will be enough. Sometimes talking with someone who is not already involved in your life can be helpful. Our loved ones usually have ideas or biases about what they hope for us. In counseling sessions, I stay present with you and help you identify patterns that are no longer serving you. I aim to provide a secure space, free of judgement for you to share your story while also facilitating experiences that help you go deeper, allowing you to make the changes you are hoping for.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and influenced by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic psychotherapies, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Relational-Cultural Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness.
